About Wesley Bruce

I am a junior at the University of Oklahoma preparing to graduate in May of 2025. I am double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Management Information Systems. I landed on this major combination because I enjoy analyzing data, optimizing process and operations, dealing with logistical challenges, and solving problems.I have done my best to make the most of my time at OU, filling my schedule with various programs and organizations while excelling in my coursework. Most notably, I have worked as an Office Assistant at Sooner Card, OU’s student ID card office, for two years and was recently promoted to Team Lead. Additionally, I was recently selected to be a Candidate Associate in the JCPenney Leadership Program, where I will have the opportunity to grow myself personally and professionally alongside other like-minded individuals.In the spring of 2023, I participated in the Integrated Business Core Program at OU. My team was selected to be a founding team and I was the Chief Operating Officer for our company, Crimson Prints. We pitched our ideas, secured a bank loan, sold our inventory, and finally donated our profits to charity. As COO, I played a crucial role in steering the trajectory of the company while also leading the operations team and communicating with our suppliers. I am excited to take what I learned during this experiential learning opportunity and apply it to future opportunities.
