About Wesley Brown
I am a Data Science undergraduate and Research Assistant with a strong interest in using data to drive meaningful, real-world impact. I am especially interested in High-Dimensional data and Graph Databases. My experience spans academic research, tech startups, and education, where I have applied statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to solve diverse problems.At the Cognition in Context Lab, I work with EEG data to support research in brain and cognitive development in children. During my internship at Real AI Dynamics, I led projects that improved user experiences through micro SaaS development using tools like PocketBase, TypeScript, and Bubble.io. I also enjoy building personal projects, including a lyrical analysis tool that uses web scraping, MongoDB, and sentiment analysis.In my role as Project Team Lead at the Davis Data Science Club, I led a team modeling air quality using time series and geospatial analysis to identify risks for local communities. I value collaboration, curiosity, and clarity in both technical and team environments.Currently, I am pursuing my BS in Data Science at UC Davis, building on a strong foundation in programming, mathematics, and applied analytics. I am always looking to grow, contribute, and connect with others who are passionate about using data to create positive change.
