ABOUT WESLEY ALBERTS
I am a dedicated educator, program organizer, and founder of Prysmind: Innovations in Learning, with over seven years of experience designing and leading inclusive, STEM-focused educational programs for K–12 students. Having studied Economic Theory, Education Policy, and Social Innovation at NYU, I bridge research, teaching, and entrepreneurship to create transformative learning environments tailored to neurodivergent and accelerated learners. My work spans private tutoring, curriculum design, afterschool program development, and mentorship, as well as collaborative research on inclusive education practices. With a strong background in program management, partnership development, and personalized instruction, I am passionate about building innovative pathways that empower students to reach their full potential while advancing equity and creativity in education. In particular, I am a strong supporter of the neurodiversity movement, working to promote strengths-based approaches that recognize and celebrate the unique contributions of neurodivergent thinkers in both academic and professional spaces. I believe that students of all backgrounds and levels of support needs deserve to be treated with respect and given the space and support that they need to thrive confidently, and to be given the skills to advocate for themselves in their future pursuits.
