As the Director of Electrical Engineering for Barton Associates, I am responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic oversight across our entire organization. I oversee day-to-day QA/QC efforts for our York, Philadelphia, and Raleigh offices, helping project teams deliver consistent, code-compliant, and reliable solutions.A major focus of my role is developing firmwide electrical standards and guiding best practices across our staff. I work closely with engineers, project managers, and leadership to strengthen design processes, improve coordination, and ensure excellence from concept through construction.My expertise spans power design and distribution, low voltage and communication systems, life safety systems, and lighting design. I’m especially engaged in supporting projects within the education and healthcare sectors, where safety, resiliency, and long-term performance are essential.I’m also committed to mentorship and professional development, leading training initiatives that help engineers grow while maintaining a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.As a licensed Professional Engineer in 10 states, I take pride in supporting teams across the firm and helping deliver electrical systems that serve clients and communities with lasting impact.
