ABOUT WES SEIFERT

Helping people and contributing to making their lives better hasn’t always been my primary role, but it has always been my motivation. Developing meaningful relationships that help make a difference is the common thread linking both my career and passion projects. And the role that has made this most possible is being a financial advisor with Edward Jones.A Clemson University graduate, I went straight into engineering, building a 30+-year career in developing state-of-the-art technology, and leading global teams with two major corporations. These roles taught me the value of listening and collaboration. Later, as a small business owner teaming with my wife to build i9 Sports’ youth sports leagues in Durham and Chapel Hill, I discovered the joy of making an impact one-on-one.In 2018, sensing my contribution was still incomplete, I began to reflect on how best to align my skills and knowledge with my desire to help in more meaningful ways. I realized that helping people take charge of their finance and investment future was a perfect match. I love to build the relationships that help my clients feel welcomed and confident as we work toward achieving their goals. I hold General Securities Representatives (Series 7), Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66), and life and health insurance licenses. And clients leverage not just my experience, but the full depth of support and technology integral to Edward Jones. To date, I\'m honored to serve clients in fifteen states.I live in Cary, NC, with my wife, Kathleen (also with Edward Jones), and our four children attended or currently attend Green Hope HS. One has graduated from Western Carolina, one attends Appalachian St, one attends James Madison University, and one is a Senior at Green Hope HS. Kathleen and I have both volunteered at the high school in various roles, and most evenings you\'ll find us at basketball, football, and competitive cheer games. You may also see us on a family trek in the Appalachian Mountains or watching a sunset on the beautiful North Carolina Coast at Oak Island.My team includes professional associates, as well as branch administrator Glendora Murray-French.
