My career, which began in technology, also required me to acquire skills and excel in project management. This combination of business and technology acumen has allowed me to bridge the gap between the two areas, speak the language, and provide the most value to the organization. What I love most about my job is being an integral part of growth and change that drives results and positions the company for long-term success. I strategically apply knowledge and expertise about people, systems, tools, and project management processes to plan and execute solutions. I look back at what’s worked and what didn’t to ensure that any issues or problems aren’t encountered again.I\'m a leader who drives decisions and makes changes with solid data and facts, following project management and prioritization disciplines to avoid rework and timeline delays. Leading through collaboration and engagement and ensuring team members\' roles align with their strengths and skills results in maximum productivity and engagement. Things I’m most proud of:• PMO Role: Establishing the Kum & Go IT PMO and, as the business changed, consolidating the IT & Business PMO areas. Foundational processes have evolved but are still being used.• Being respected as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in every role I’ve held.• Developing individuals who have moved on to higher-level roles and careers. Some have contacted me years later to ask for my opinion or advice on a problem they\'ve encountered.• Moving my career forward from a tech service position out of college to VP and Director level positions in two large organizations.I’m often asked to tackle tough challenges because leadership is confident that I can be dropped into any complex situation, work comfortably with ambiguity, discard distractions, clarify the way forward, develop a plan, and get people executing it.
