I am a Corporate Security Manager at XPO, a leading transportation service provider in North America, with over 13 years of experience in this field. My mission is to safeguard the company\'s assets, employees, customers, reputation from various threats / risks, to ensure the integrity, and safety of the freight flow across different modes of transport. I have strong expertise in supply chain security, physical security, investigations, surveillance, and compliance. All which I apply to conduct various types of investigations, such as cargo theft, workplace violence, drug matters, workplace injury, ethics point, and customer assistance. I use evidence-based methods, technical tools, liaison with law enforcement to deliver results, solve problems, enhance security performance, and standards. I also perform security facility audits, assess potential security issues, implement preventive, and corrective measures.    Responsible for Corporate Security matters for over 58 service centers across the western United States. Oversee investigations at all organizational levels. Control losses related to theft, pilferage, and vandalism. Document unlawful activity through photographic and/or video evidence and with detailed written reports for use during disciplinary proceedings, or criminal court cases. Assist with Workplace Violence and Ethics Point Investigations. Provide ongoing support to Operations and Corporate Claims by investigating the loss of equipment and freight. Utilize proprietary company software to track equipment and freight as well as review internal security cameras to verify the location and condition of lost freight.Maintain a strong liaison role with law enforcement agencies. Conduct comprehensive risk audits and assessments for service centers within designated areas of responsibility. Design customized security system solutions tailored to the specific needs of each service center, and ensuring all work is completed and installed according to scope and specifications. Meanwhile, collaborating with colleagues on day-to-day issues that arise and providing training of security best practices and processes to eliminate risk.
