In my position at Eastex, I oversee state regulatory and legislative activities impacting Eastex\'s broadband and telecommunications operations. From time to time I testify before state regulators and legislators on issues affecting broadband and telecommunications policy affecting rural Texas.In addition to my role with Eastex, I serve as chairman of the Texas Telephone Association\'s Regulatory Committee including the Committee\'s various specialized working groups on universal service support, broadband access and adoption, and other ad hoc working groups.In my leadership role for TTA, I represent TTA\'s rural telecommunications members on the Texas Broadband Development Office\'s statewide Business and Telecom Task Force as Texas prepares to distribute billions in broadband funding.
