ABOUT WES LOCKLEY DIPFA

Currently employed as a Finanical Adviser with Markland Hill Wealth Ltd, offering whole of market advice on: pensions, investments, mortgages & protection. Specialising in pensions, investments, tax and estate planning. Before my migration to financial advising. I served 7 years in the Royal Air Force - a career which has encompassed but not exclusive to; taking a leading role in training up my colleagues in preparation for the 2012 Olympics, completing a tour of duty in the Arabian Gulf, helping manage the airspace over the Gulf and Afghanistan. Thereby ensuring the effective and expeditious use of air assets to support stakeholders on the ground.Moving to Northwood to be part of a team that had operational command of all UK overseas deployments. This included helping move aid to Africa to combat Ebola, to liaising with various stakeholders to facilitate the rescuing of refugees in the Mediterranean, to helping victims of the Nepal earthquake by organising the movement of supplies to those affected and much in between. Whilst performing a difficult and demanding job, ensuring my personal development wasn\'t compromised by completing various courses including; Team Leading NVQ Level 2, Management NVQ Level 3, IFS Certificate in Mortgages and Protection (CeMAP) and now completing my IFS Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA).
