Sole Quality Assurance (QA) Architect for 40+ individual QAs across roughly a dozen different project teams. Was originally brought in to help consolidate all the individual testing efforts into a single common framework that was written from scratch, with the help of another SDET, using mainly Cucumber, Java, and Selenium. Helped mentor and assist almost every single QA on a bi-monthly basis, and provided pull request code reviews for most of the entire QA team on a daily basis. In addition to my recurring support duties, I single-handedly worked on continuous improvement backlog items for the QA framework, provided training and workshop presentations to the entire QA team, assisted with the hiring and interviewing of new QAs, and helped advise most of the Project Managers and Executive Team on ways to help improve Railinc’s overall QA practices.
