As a Chemical Specialist, I serve in a multifunctional role in the Midstream division. My duties include but are not limited to managing chemical water treatment programs by holding and protecting Aris Water Solutions’ assets by ensuring third-party chemical vendors are held accountable within a cost effective program. Collaborative discussion with teammates and vendors coupled with field testing analysis & interpretation results in data-driven, strategic plans being developed that comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines. By adopting a proactive, safety-first approach, I help ensure plans are executed with concise goals designed to eliminate or mitigate hazards and preserve the well being of our people, the environment and our facilities. I also work closely with members of our Operations Team to ensure challenges and issues are being effectively communicated and properly addressed within the chemicals solution scope. This is accomplished with ongoing communication and monitoring of trends and other pertinent data used to gauge the health of our assets.I also manage a multimillion-dollar chemical-based expenditure with respect to budgetary confines and to ensure all costs are properly captured and reconciled on a monthly basis.
