About Wes Beaumont
As a certified construction manager, speaker, author, coach, and business change manager, I bring extensive expertise in construction delivery, program management, and business transformation consulting. My previous experience includes serving as a registered expert coach with the Business Growth Service, supporting businesses across the UK with improvement initiatives and knowledge management.Currently, at Mace, I lead PMO for Package 2 of the Hudson Tunnel Project on behalf of MPA Delivery Partners. This $16 billion program involves constructing a new two-track rail tunnel under the Hudson River and rehabilitating the existing North River Tunnel, with Package 2 overseeing systems and fit-out. Previously, I led AECOM\'s digital transformation consulting in the US East region and managed the Port Authority of NY & NJ Engineering Department Digital Transformation Program. In that capacity, I developed methodologies to identify and implement operational improvements aimed at redefining the department’s operating model.Earlier in my career, I led project controls teams during projects such as the $1.5 billion transformation of Manchester Airport, where I contributed to developing an asset lifecycle information management framework for Manchester Airports Group.I hold Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom, and have contributed to several books and published technical articles in trade and academic journals, focusing on project controls, innovation, data strategies, change management, cultural transformation, motivation, and leadership. I previously served as chairman of the Chartered Institute of Building’s Manchester Hub before relocating to the United States in 2018, vice-chair of the UK’s Constructing Excellence Manchester network, and was a member of the UK BIM 2050 group dedicated to advancing digitization within the UK AEC sector.
