In 1988, Werner founded SYSTAG Group, located in Metzingen near Stuttgart (Germany), with his wife Karin Theis. They both own and run SYSTAG Group since then. The company has received numerous prestigious awards in their field of expertise in the past 15 years. SYSTAG Group services more than 40% of the German DAX listed corporations. Before starting his company Werner worked in international sales and controlling. After that he joined for three years the inward investment nucleus of Baden-Württemberg International, Stuttgart. With SystAG Group’s consulting arm he helped build the Saxony Economic Development Board (WFS), Dresden, and Stuttgart Region Economic Development (WRS), Stuttgart. Werner’s team also has a rich experience in EU funded IT projects, some of them as general contractor.
