Our mission is to provide resources that educate, empower, protect, and nurture throughout their life\'s journey.My role as the Development Associate is to:Collaborate directly with the Spindletop Executive Director to drive development activities, cultivating and sustaining effective working relationships and communication channels with charitable partners volunteers, donors, Board members, & Committee members.Act as the primary point of contact for the Spindletop Management Committee, overseeing quarterly meeting scheduling, planning retreats, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), volunteer hours, adherence to the overall budget, and providing necessary support services.Work closely with the Management Committee, Spindletop Connections Sponsor Companies, and Non-Profit Partners to strategically plan, coordinate, and execute volunteer service projects, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement.Assist in the creation of impactful written materials, including Spindletop\'s Stewardship Report, Holiday Ball Program/Annual Report publication, and direct mail appeals, showcasing effective communication skills and a keen understanding of storytelling.Take a leadership role in website management, encompassing the creation of news articles, regular photo updates, and occasional verbiage refreshments, ensuring an engaging and up-to-date online presence.Exercise independent judgment and assumes responsibility for developing and facilitating comprehensive materials, including agendas, meeting packets, meeting minutes, acknowledgment letters, and reports, highlighting organizational competence.Provide crucial administrative support to the Database Management contract worker, ensuring precision in donor records, gift/data entry, and timely production of acknowledgment letters.
