About Werner Vetsch
I am an accomplished Investment Management Executive, and I enjoy finding and implementing strategic solutions to difficult problems. I had the opportunity to be the fourth employee at a start-up institutional investment manager, Legal & General Investment Management America (LGIMA), and co-lead LGIMA from zero to $52+ billion in assets under management in less than 8 years. Along with my co-workers, I solved a constant stream of challenges along the way. I believe in communication and collaboration and have had a chance to build this kind of culture in my prior roles. Having a clear vision of what the goals are, and casting that vision throughout an organization, coupled with a culture of open communication, empowers talent to deliver on the vision. I love new experiences, both personal and professional, and I enjoy traveling for the new experiences it brings. As a first-generation American with Swiss and German roots, Europe has been a frequent destination, but I aspire to eventually visit all seven continents. I also enjoy hiking and golfing in the mountains of North Carolina, skiing in Utah and Colorado, and kayaking the rivers of South Carolina.
