Responsible to maintain the integrity of the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program by ensuring compliance with all outside regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and procedures. • Member of the BSA Management Committee in place to review and discuss routine BSA matters, such as ongoing or planned initiatives, productivity of units, validations, customers for special discussion, and/or disposition of accounts.• Successfully in charge of the Chief BSA Compliance Officer position and responsibilities. • Assists in the development and implementation of corporate policies to support the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC Compliance Program. • In conjunction with the Chief Compliance Officer, coordinate, prepare, monitor and update AML compliance plans regularly.• Acts as a liaison between the BSA/AML Compliance Department and the frontline for compliance related duties.• Monitors progress and evaluate the impact of BSA/AML/OFAC compliance training programs and initiate modifications to the program, as required.• Supervises and monitors analyzed transactions on an ongoing basis which includes investigations, SARs, and high-risk reviews.• Manages the BSA/AML compliance improvement and compliance violations reporting system.• Pro-actively identifies actual and potential violations of regulatory requirements, internal AML policies and procedures or other risk situations at an early stage.• Provides compliance approvals or assesses requests for approval and makes recommendations to the Chief Compliance Officer.
