My first job ever was as a cross country coach. After winning my first championship, I was hooked on teaching. I loved teaching young adults how to work hard and be successful. From that experience, I dedicated my life to education because I want to help students reach levels of achievement they never thought possible. As the product manager for the Amplify Desmos Math Texas K-5 curriculum, I collaborated with an incredibly talented team of curriculum writers, editors, illustrators, designers and project managers to create a highly rated and award winning curriculum that received approval in the most recent Texas textbook adoption (IMRA 2025). The curriculum received a perfect score on the Quality Rubric and is 100% aligned to the TEKS and ELPS. Additionally, the curriculum received high recognition for its high score on the Suitability Rubric. We are shifting our focus on bringing the curriculum to market through our successful pilot program and our recent adoption in Abilene ISD. We are looking forward to a breakout year during the Back to School season of 2026.
