WORK HISTORY
Yoga Teacher @Studio Wen
Bristol, GB
Yoga guide: Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, MandalaCurrently teaching in Bristol, UK (Now Studio, Elevate Studio, Clifton Sky Yoga & Trika Yoga)Wen began her yoga practice 17 years ago with the intention of becoming more ‘flexible’ for her cheerleading performance. That was when she discovered that yoga is not just a workout, but a work-in, a journey inward. Her practice embodies the interplay of fluid movement and conscious breathwork, the balance of sthira (effort) and sukham (ease), and the space of being. To her, yoga is a way of doing, feeling and living life- carrying the state of focus, contentment and mindfulness cultivated on the mat into the real world, off the mat.Influenced by her own experience as a student, Wen intends to inspire others and share her knowledge of yoga, by providing the sutras (threads) to weave their own clothes. Her offering is always an invitation and guidance to practise, allowing individuals to weave what feels truly authentic and make it their own.Wen’s teaching style in five words: storytelling, progressive, dynamic, explorative and considered.
