ABOUT WENDY MUSTARD

I advise clients about all aspects of Private Client work and have experience helping clients with their wills and lasting powers of attorney. I deal with a wide variety of estates, including those liable to Inheritance Tax, intestate estates (where the deceased did not leave a will) and advising beneficiaries about varying their entitlement under a Deed of Variation. I also act as an attorney or Court appointed Deputy for adults who lack the capacity to deal with their own property and financial affairs. I am an affiliate member of the highly regarded Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). STEP is the leading worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning. I am a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). SFE is an independent organisation that provides specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers. In 2018, I became a Dementia Friend. The Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends initiative educates people to understand the condition and it aims to inform the perception people have about dementia.
