ABOUT WENDY MEDINA HERRERA
My experiences as a daughter of Mexican immigrants inspire me to create and advocate for stories rarely represented in entertainment. I lean towards stories about immigration, balancing identity, and family. I graduated from Chapman University with a BFA in Film Production (directing emphasis) and Latinx/Latin American Studies. My top three favorite films are The Farewell by Lulu Wang, Moonlight by Barry Jenkins, and Real Women Have Curves by Patricia Cardoso.
