Private, non-profit therapeutic school serving children from 22 districts in the Portland metro area • Manage operations & administration of human resources policies and procedures for 100 employees in OR and WA • Total Rewards – Open Enrollment, QLEs, New Hires, Terminations; Ongoing employee benefits education regarding Medical/Dental/Vision plans, FSA/DCA Section 125 Plans, 403b and EAP • LOA Management – Manage all aspects of Leaves of Absences: Employee education, vendor relations, and employer documentation regarding PFLA, OFLA, FMLA, disability claims (STD & LTD) • Worker’s Compensation – Employee education and employer documentation regarding claims process, RTW, MWD and reasonable accommodations, 801 and OSHA 300A log reporting • Legal Compliance – Employee education, administration, policy dissemination and maintenance regarding Federal, State, & Local Acts and laws • Payroll & Audits – Manage Semi-Monthly payroll (stipends, bonuses, shift differentials, LOAs, changes in title, salary and deductions, new hires, terminations, final paychecks, discrepancies). Manage annual payroll and benefits audits. • Talent Acquisition – Full Cycle Recruiting – Job Descriptions, postings and interview questions creation and maintenance; Manage ATS; Interview candidates; Reference and Education Checks; Create, present and negotiate offer letters • Onboarding/New Hire Orientation – Employee education surrounding organization PTO/SL, timeclock, training processes, software, and safety procedures • Employee Relations & Engagement – Organization specific policies & procedures SM • Performance Management & Conflict Resolution – Lead internal investigations and advise supervisors and management. Lead Employee coaching and mediation. • Terminations – Voluntary & Involuntary – Employee education regarding benefits, COBRA, and final paycheck. Lead discussion surrounding involuntary terminations.
