ABOUT WENDY MARSH

I entered the aviation world over 20 years ago and many of you can relate - it’s overwhelming! My curiosity for forward thinking, managing disruptions and building a team who wants to be a part of the problem solving process took me to a place where I felt validated. Working within the aviation world during a disruption creates a new kind of patience within ourselves. In order to mitigate financial risks - three items must be actioned: 1. What are the options? What is the plan? Execute the plan Aviation fast paced, stressful and there are tough decisions that need to be made to mitigate company costs. We need to do what is best for the travelling public and the organization. Building resilience during the tough days allowed me to swiftly overcome challenges and achieve success. I continue to evolve my collaborative nature which allows me to start conversations and foster productive teams by leveraging individuals’ strengths and teaching them to inspire others in return. Having imagination during irregular operations fueled my creativity, built self confidence within the Operations team and leadership. As a result, I started attracting like minded individuals and generating momentum in problem-solving and organizational development. Like with any company, success requires a delicate balance of self-discovery, combined with support, advocacy and advice from the right people. In reflection of the above, the value that I will bring to your organization is the ability to adapt to multiple environments, empower those around me to create purpose, and be curious!
