About Wendy Dunnigan

I was a Scrum Master within Site Reliability Engineering for a retail and ecommerce giant. I held all of the traditional Scrum ceremonies for 3 teams (with streams) of engineers in solutions of automation and incident management. Additionally, I performed as a Proxy and Project Manager for a Senior Director where I assisted in tracking, monitoring, and financial reporting on shutting down the infrastructure for one of their subsidiaries. Assisted the Sr. Director in his venture to form a new organization by conducting market research, helped to secure new solutions, market those new solutions, and onboard new engineers. My background is pretty versatile. I have worked as a Developer, Software Tester, QA Lead and Consultant, Business Analyst, Governance Member, Trainer, and Senior Project Lead. My verbal and writing skills are my biggest strength. Another strength is my ability to develop and maintain relationships with my colleagues. Last, but not least, I can adapt to any situation. I embrace change and have always seen it as an opportunity for growth.

   My most recent assignment was with an eCommerce and Retail giant. •Reported to and assisted the Sr. Director in his new venture to form a new organization by securing solutions. conducted market research, helped with project proposals, planned MVPs, and created and edited presentations. Briefed the Sr. Director on incidents and procured software for his teams. Recognized by the client\'s Marketing and Education department for a presentation I worked on and recorded. The recording was used as mandatory training to software engineers for engineering excellence. •Additionally, I supported a 2nd director in the ML & AI space. He and I collaborated with others in IT to leverage their use of ML & AI for his new and innovative solutions. I assisted with his project proposal and with planning. •Helped manage, coordinate, and track a project to remove the infrastructure and brand from the company\'s online only retailer. I provided monthly, financial reports to the stakeholders showcasing the infrastructure that was removed and the savings it yielded for the company.•Scrum Master for 3 teams (with streams) in SRE for solutions of incident management and automation. I held all of the traditional ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews / Demos, and Sprint Retrospectives. In this role, I supported about 30+ software engineers. For most teams, we practiced Scrum, for other teams, we used Kanban. I was recently certified as a Scrum Master with Scrum Alliance.
