ABOUT WENDY ZABRISKIE

Experienced finance lawyer specializing in complex transactions including representing entities, private equity companies, real estate funds, real estate developers and investment companies. I have significant experience representing borrowers and lenders in complex corporate and real estate finance transactions. I have handled corporate lending transactions in a wide range of industries, many of which involved acquisition financing, senior and mezzanine financing structures and syndicated loans. I have worked on numerous construction financing transactions for for a broad spectrum of projects including mixed use, retail, office, multi-family, senior housing. self storage, industrial, warehouse, parking, hospitality, restaurant and entertainment/arena facilities. I regularly represent borrowers in loans underwritten by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. I have extensive law firm leadership experience. I served on the board of directors and executive committee at Bodman for several years where we led the day to day operations and executed the strategic direction of the firm. I was the managing partner of the Troy office with responsibility for day to day management of the firm\'s second largest office comprised of in excess of 80 attorneys and administrative team members. I was the Co-Chair of Bodman’s Banking practice group for many years and chaired, or was a member of, several other firm committees involving strategy, recruitment, advancement, compensation, governance, diversity and best practices.
