Wendy Elizabeth Jones is a soulful Texas singer-songwriter whose Roots and Americana sound wanders freely through Rock ’n’ Roll, Motown, Country, Folk, and Blues. Her music carries a lived-in grit and a storyteller’s heart, shaped by years of performing across cities.Raised in Houston, Wendy fell in love with the arts early and followed that calling to Austin, where she studied Theater and Dance at The University of Texas. Her creative path took her abroad to London, studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and the British American Drama Academy. When she wasn’t in class, she was guitar in hand, busking and performing in Underground tube stations and town squares across the city.After graduating, Wendy continued her journey through New York and Los Angeles, performing and honing her craft on both coasts. Eventually, Texas called her home. Now based in Houston, she performs regularly in her hometown and tours throughout the state, bringing a sound that feels both timeless and undeniably her own.
