About Wendy Conty
As part of GSA\'s Office of Planning and Design Quality, I am part of a team whose vision is to elevate design quality as an enduring value throughout the National Capital Region by advocating for standards of excellence. As the Interior Design Branch Chief my team and I partner with government customers to develop innovative, functional and sustainable workplaces. Depending on the project, we wear many hats ranging from project manager and interior designer to subject matter experts and design leads. As the Regional Workplace Executive I assist and advise agencies with their space needs whether it\'s a new lease, a consolidation, or a relocation we help them along the way with everything from programming to space planning and furniture specifications. Specialties: Furniture, fixtures, and equipment selection and specification; interior space planning, sustainable finish selection and specification, furniture acquisition plans, construction documents and project management through all phases of the project including programming, phasing, bid specifications and installation management; manage and/or assist in the architecture, design & construction administration of projects.
