I am an experienced insurance coverage, complex litigation and subrogation attorney, with an emphasis in the energy, marine, professional indemnity, construction, and general liability sectors. I am also experienced as monitoring counsel. My experience has been concentrated in litigating insurance matters in the oil and gas sector, both in Texas and Louisiana. I am a founding shareholder of Hall, Maines & Lugrin, PLC, where I represented domestic insurance companies, Lloyd\'s Underwriting Syndicates, London Companies, offshore drilling and subsea construction companies, energy, and oil service companies, personal injury, first-party property and general casualty disputes. I have tried many disputes through trial including multimillion dollar insurance matters, multimillion dollar energy subrogation matters for London insurers, and litigated other insurance claims through favorable settlement (including energy, bad faith, pollution, political risk, construction defect, product liability, professional indemnity and general liability coverages). I have also litigated general property and casualty matters. I take pride in assisting my clients in achieving the desired results — whether that be through counseling, litigation, favorable settlement, or trial, and if necessary, appeal.
