Work in partnership with the Board to provide leadership and direction for the organization and develop mission and organizational strategy including fund development, financial and business management and member/stakeholder relationships. FOLAR is the only organization in the region dedicated to conserving and protecting the natural, cultural, and recreational assets along the Virginia Scenic lower Appomattox River. FOLAR devotes resources to improving greenspace and greenways, creating access to the river, protecting water quality and land conservation, and promoting stewardship of the River.
