About Wendell Jackson
I manage complex technical programs that support large scale network and datacenter deployments across Southern California. I coordinate engineering, implementation, and operations teams to deliver stable, high performing transport and datacenter infrastructure. My work covers eNSE, 5G, LS6, C Band, small cell backhaul, optical transport, and low voltage builds for enterprise and carrier customers.I lead planning, design, and execution cycles for transport and datacenter systems. I turn requirements into buildable designs, review architecture, validate hardware readiness, and drive work through construction and integration. I manage vendor performance, contracts, budgets, and schedules. I reduce rework by tightening design quality and closing gaps before build starts. I work daily with RF, Ops, Construction, Real Estate, and HQ engineering.I own end to end delivery for OSP and ISP builds. This includes conduit, fiber, ladder rack, cabinets, power plants, and structured cabling. I coordinate site readiness, turn up, and integration with transport routers, optical systems, and monitoring platforms. I manage issue escalation paths and keep cross functional teams aligned.I oversee acceptance and performance for high value network systems. I validate optical power levels and fiber quality using Gofoton EKO panels and OTDR test sets. I support coherent optics migrations, 100G to 400G upgrades, new router turn ups, and high bandwidth backhaul for AI, 5G, and cloud workloads.I run program reviews, report status to leadership, and remove blockers. I manage multiple projects at once and communicate clearly with technical and non technical teams. I improve processes, cut delays, and tighten documentation. My background includes SPY 1D Navy radar systems, complex troubleshooting, and steady performance under pressure.I bring more than 18 years of engineering experience focused on large scale infrastructure and high availability networks. I work well with customers, vendors, and executives. My background fits Nvidia\'s need for someone who can guide customers through AI datacenter deployments, translate goals into delivery plans, and ensure on time execution.
