Dr. Wendelin Slusser is Associate Vice Provost for the Semel Healthy Campus Initiative Center at UCLA building an inclusive culture of health where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and flourish. Envisioned and supported by Jane and Terry Semel, the vision of the Semel Healthy Campus Initiative Center at UCLA is to make UCLA the healthiest community to work, learn, and thrive and to inspire others through building an inclusive culture of health as the foundation for a resilient, equitable, and flourishing community for the over UCLA students, faculty, staff and beyond.The Semel Healthy Campus Initiative Center at UCLA innovates towards building a culture of physical, mental, and social well-being on UCLA’s campus. Identifying and mobilizing the strengths and assets of the UCLA community is one of the key ingredients in building a culture of well-being from the inside out.
