About Wendee Grady

As the Assistant General Counsel and Director of Legal Foundation at Kansas Farm Bureau, I provide in-house guidance to internal departments and outside members to ensure the success of the Kansas agricultural industry. With 17 years of experience as an attorney, I have a strong background in corporate, commercial, real estate, and regulatory matters, with a focus on agriculture and natural resources. I am passionate about finding solutions to legal and business challenges, as well as educating and supporting rural communities and farmers. Some of my career highlights include developing Ag Law Briefs, an online seminar series on legal issues facing landowners and ag lawyers; establishing and administering the Rural Law Practice Grant program; and serving as the Chief Counsel of the Kansas Department of Agriculture, where I led the agency legal department and drafted and enforced regulations in various areas. I am a strategic thinker, an eager learner, and a collaborative team player who values integrity, excellence, and service.
