About Wenbo Li
I have a master degree in Finance and Business Analytics at the University of Texas at Dallas. I have done an internship at HSBC and at CITIC Securities Company as a financial data analyst. I have taken CFA level 2 in June 2019 and the financial knowledge will complement to understand data analysis. In my last job at Zuri, an e-commerce furniture retail company, I have done several projects including sales-promotions categories and pricing strategy analysis and has reported directly to the C-level (using Excel and R). I have been innovative and enthusiastic at Zuri: building time-series regression models (ARIMA) in R to forecast sales per week, which resulted in 90% R-square and increased the accuracy of forecasting. I have been trying to contribute to my company as much as I can.In school, I have participated in student organization CEO-global as a vice-president. I have organized and participated in several workshops and interviewed industry professionals to help the connection between current students and industry professionals. For academic projects and competitions, I have a data warehouse project using SQL and visualization tools like Tableau.
