1. Prevention Coordinator - Delaware Army National Guard

   In alignment with Army Regulations 600-85 and 350-53, I orchestrated and delivered comprehensive substance abuse prevention training across multiple military units, ensuring both readiness and strict adherence to policy. I managed referred substance abuse cases from initial intake through to final disposition, overseeing assessment scheduling, monitoring treatment progress, and meticulously maintaining records within internal systems. My role involved fostering and sustaining collaborative relationships with state-level stakeholders, military leadership, and community-based providers to advance prevention and intervention objectives. I facilitated the Unit Risk Inventory (URI) and Reintegration Unit Risk Inventory (RURI) processes, guaranteeing accurate completion, quality control, and prompt reporting. Data entry into the Drug and Alcohol Management Information System (DAMIS) and other internal tracking platforms was conducted to ensure consistent documentation and compliance. Active participation in the Commander’s Readiness and Resiliency Council (CR2C) and the Adjutant General’s Alcohol and Drug Intervention Council (ADIC) allowed me to contribute to strategic planning and prevention initiatives. I provided regular updates on status, performance metrics, and progress reports to the Risk Reduction Coordinator (RRC), supporting the continuous enhancement of prevention programs. Additionally, I maintained an up-to-date catalog of state and local service providers to streamline referrals and improve care coordination. My efforts extended to assisting in the development and execution of Risk Mitigation Plans (RMPs), offering tailored training recommendations based on unit-specific risk assessments.
