   I\'m incredibly grateful for Local Roots and the positive impact it has made in our community. Hearing from people that our food was the only thing they could eat during serious health issues or that it was their first taste of real produce is deeply rewarding. It\'s an honor to support over 30 small local farms, helping them survive and thrive. Our efforts have been recognized with the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Mayor Bloomberg, and we\'ve had the privilege of sharing our story on various publications, panels and podcasts like Vogue, Eater, Well + Good, Viceland, Mind Body Green and more.As the CEO of this small business, I wear multiple hats: from CFO, to marketing, innovation, social media, and buying. Finding the most talented farmers and sharing their incredible food, knowing it’s good for the earth and people’s bodies, has been a true honor. We are committed to growing the regenerative agriculture movement, which I believe will save the world by fighting climate change and preserving farmland. Being able to feed people the best-tasting food and learning about the science and art of regenerative farming has been an enriching journey. These achievements remind me daily of the importance of our mission and the difference we can make together.
