About Jonathan Welsh

Jon joined the Open Government Partnership as the Director of Human Resources in April 2020. He leads the development and implementation of OGP’s people strategy, policies and programs for its global staff. Jon brings to OGP over 15 years of HR experience from a variety of sectors, including start ups, technology firms, non-profit organizations and local government. He most recently was the Vice President, People and Culture at Brooks Bell Interactive, a consultancy transforming client experiences for global organizations. Jon has a master’s degree in human resource management from the University of Surrey and an MBA from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina State University.
