Since my career in the gaming industry in 2005, I have undergone a significant evolution from a game artist to becoming an external development lead. This journey reflects not just personal growth but also the dynamic shifts within the gaming industry itself. Embracing the changes, I ventured beyond my comfort zone in 2011, transitioning into external development, which is both challenging and rewarding. My path has meandered through the business and client sides of development, where creative thinking, bold decision-making, and swift problem-solving have been my daily. My role has always been fluid, often stepping beyond defined boundaries to achieve objectives. Here are some key roles I have embraced that showcase my past experiences and capabilities-Spearheading business development while managing external art production teams, ensuring quality and consistency-Serving as an outsourcing artist, producing art, generating documentation, and supporting external vendors through direct communication-Acting as a full outsourcing supporter, driving changes, and providing guidance to both internal and external teams to align on project goals for success-Assisting production with the roadmap and planning to secure milestone achievements before strategizing external resources for optimal outcomes-Managing the entire procurement cycle, from handling RFPs and budgeting to ensuring legal compliance and cultivating industry relationships-Extending my influence beyond the art team to support engineering, marketing, and business development efforts with insights, enhancing efficiency through strategic resource allocation, workflow optimization, and partnership development.
