Hello there! I\'m Weilin Sun, a Junior at Carnegie Mellon University\'s School of Computer Science, pursuing my Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science. I\'ve been fortunate to gain hands-on experience through multiple internships in the software engineering/AI domain at AMD and Aizip. I\'ve had the privilege of contributing to projects in diverse areas, including AI development to backend systems, ensuring robust yet efficient software solutions. I am eagerly seeking new opportunities in software engineering roles where I can continue to grow and contribute my expertise, while working in a team environment. I hope to make a meaningful impact through creative problem solving and innovation, and I am excited to embark on new challenges that align with my passion with others.

   Member of the Data Infrastructure Metastore Team @ Meta. The team manages and stores the metadata.Expanded data coverage that the stats worker maintains by tracking additional information.Improved the stats coverage from certain tables from 30\\% to 90\\% so more data information is kept. This ensures more accurate conclusions can be drawn from the data rather than extrapolating data.Created an end-to-end job that subscribes to a stream of information being put out, parses and logs the information, then passes it along to a queue that guarantees at least once delivery.
