He works on an aggressive research program for advancing AI and enabling intelligent wireless edges that serve billions of users.He received his Ph.D. degree from Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2012 and his B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Electronic Sciences and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2007, both with the highest honor. He was a Research Scholar (20••••11) and a Post-Doctoral Fellow (20••••14) at Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri, Rolla, MO). He was the recipient of several QualStar(s) from Qualcomm Incorporated, the scholarship award for Excellent Doctoral Student from Ministry of Education of China, Distinguished Honor Graduate from Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, and also the First-Class Scholarship for graduate students (two consecutive years) from Tsinghua University. He is a frequent author and reviewer for top-tier journals/conferences, TPC Co-chair for Globecom’17, and TPC members for various conferences.
