About Wayne Gu
For starter, I honestly love the process of twisting and tweaking components to make experiment work. That is how I fell in love with biomedical reaserch in graduate school, where not only I met amazing mentor but pushed the boundary of science one step forward by discovering a key function of an protein enzyme. So, now, in industry, I carried my love with the passion to be part of mission in building a healthier human society. There is a lot more yet to learn, as well as a lot harder problems yet to be solved. This is also why I am excited to be in the biotech industry where there is not dull moment everyday. My specialties includes:Molecular Biology, Protein Expression and Purification, X-Ray crystallography, Protein structural solving,Protein/enzyme assay development, cell based assay development
