I am a Certified Fraud Examiner that leads the Audit Advisory function at Vizient, Inc. Audit Advisory is the consultative branch of Audit Services and we focus on 3 primary areas: risk assessments (enterprise level, fraud, etc.), advisory projects (operational, strategic, processes and controls, etc.) and contract negotiations for financial terms and conditions. I also championed adoption of generative AI for risk identification, audit planning, and executive reporting. An external assessment was performed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) on the Vizient IA function with successful results in 2023 (also in 2018). I served on the board as the VP of Administration for the non-profit organization, Ascend, promoting leadership development in North Texas.I was previously a Senior Manager in the Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP in Dallas, Boston and NY. I joined the practice in 2006 and had over 10 years of combined risk advisory, contract risk, enterprise risk, internal audit and regulatory compliance experience. I served as the Flexibility Champion for EY Boston, advocating for a healthy lifestyle, and sat as the Co-Chair for the Pan-Asian Professional Network.Lastly, I am passionate about sharing my experiences with others. I presented at the 2018 IIA Dallas SuperConference and have taught several EY multi-week training classes across a variety of topics - onboarding, core consulting, etc.
