About Allen Huang

I’m an M.S. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington with 5+ years of experience spanning statistical modeling, machine learning, and data infrastructure. My background combines applied statistics, decision-support analytics, and production-scale data systems across healthcare and real-time telemetry domains. Previously, I built fault-tolerant Python/SQL/R pipelines for 2M+ clinical records, reducing end-to-end runtime by 45%, and led statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and subgroup analyses that supported regulatory and client decision-making. My work also included identifying low-value analytical paths early to support stop/go decisions and avoid unnecessary downstream spend. More recently, in an industry-sponsored capstone, I have worked on distributed AWS-based data platforms for real-time telemetry, integrating multi-source streaming and external data into validated datasets for forecasting and performance analysis. This work also includes machine learning pipelines for trajectory prediction and large-scale spatiotemporal data processing. I’m especially interested in Data Science and Applied Machine Learning roles where I can combine statistical rigor, experimentation, forecasting, and scalable data systems to build products and drive decisions.
