ABOUT WEI-JIE ZHOU

As a Deposit Pricing Intern at Flagstar Bank, I apply my mathematical and statistical skills to analyze and optimize the bank\'s deposit products and strategies. I work with Python, R, and C++ to perform data extraction, manipulation, and visualization, as well as to create predictive models and simulations. I also collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to communicate my findings and recommendations, and to support the implementation of new or improved deposit solutions.I am a sophomore student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a Bachelor\'s of Science in Mathematical Sciences (Probabilistic Methods sub major) and Statistics, with a minor in Linguistics. I am passionate about learning and applying mathematical concepts and methods to solve real-world problems, especially in the fields of finance and technology. I have also participated in multiple research projects and consulting engagements, where I have gained valuable experience and insights in machine learning, natural language processing, and business analysis. I am looking for an internship for summer 2024 that will allow me to further develop and apply my skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment.
