Serve as a member of the senior development team, leading a dynamic and collaborative department, producing proprietary fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events, managing Peer-to-Peer events and championing community events throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to achieve established revenue and participation goals, to educate supporters and to celebrate our mission and Founder Paul Newman’s vision· With the Chief Development Officer, devise comprehensive long- and short-term strategies to maximize and enhance event offerings in alignment with organizational priorities· Formalize and implement systems to inspire, engage and support Board of Directors, committees and volunteers as they advance 100+ events· Maintain a portfolio of celebrity donors and prospects, utilizing Raiser’s Edge to track actions and relationship progress, and support Executive and Major Gift teams with their portfolio solicitations· Prepare target gift pyramids to project pathways to the current $5.7 million+ event goal· Forecast and manage expense budgets totaling more than $1.5 million+ annually, monitoring expenditure progress throughout the planning and execution phases with a focus on ROI· Facilitate project management timelines and partner with the internal event team on task delegation· Refine collateral and A/V strategies with the Marcom team to drive attendance and engagement· Build sponsorship benefit packages to support the work of Corporate and Foundation departments· Establish, steward, and grow the celebrity engagement program to amplify meaningful talent relationships, advance organization recognition and drive fundraising opportunities· Primary liaison to contracted production teams, navigating performance-based event deliverables· Oversee a team of five, with two direct reports
