Walter Dawson is responsible for overseeing and managing all Genesis regional activities for the southern region regarding sales performance, product distribution, dealer development, parts, service, training, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for both strategic and tactical overall direction of region. Major Responsibilities ~ Establish overall regional strategic direction.~ Establish regional priorities and objectives.~ Develop plans and strategies to attain regularly assigned objectives.~ Coordinate and implement all national programs on a regional basis.~ Foster strong dealer relations in region, including dealer development.~ Ensure Dealers facilities are at, or above standards set by GMNA.~ Responsible for development and monitoring of regional budget.~ Oversee regional advertising and marketing efforts.~ Attainment of regional Customer Experience objectives and develop/monitor strategies to improve customer loyalty processes and customer experience.~ Work with the Genesis Retail Advisory Board.~ Responsible for employee development and management of direct reports including regional coordination with HR on growth of personnel, annual performance evaluations, development of succession plans, performance management as well as training, coaching and direction to ensure employees are meeting requirements of position, and development for future GMA opportunities.
