Execute the Vivint Customs Compliance Program; ensure trade operations meet federal guideline and adhere to import and export regulations • Provide training related to proper Import and Export documentation; maintain procedures in accordance with Customs standards and requirements • Support team with researching and providing guidance on HTS classifications, COO determination, shipment valuation, ECCN verification, and other critical import/export trade compliance functions • Maintain proficiency in global customs regulation frameworks such as harmonized tariff schedules, customs valuations, and other relevant regulations • Prepare documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, export declarations, dangerous goods documents. Ensure that transportation activities follow customs and government regulations • Partner with departments and organizations within the Company, including Legal, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, IT and Engineering to develop and execute defined procedures around trade compliance
