Psychometric, validation, policy research. Research management - higher education, K-12, assessment design and validation, admissions, and career/selection. II), PARCC, NCAA, the National Technical Advisory Panel (for USDOE) and various state Technical Advisory Committees (NE, PA, TX, DE). Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana in 1986, graduate degrees in educational measurement and school psychology from Rhode Island College. He received a BA from University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. Specialties: Assessment design and validation in education and industrial psychology; fairness and subgrouop differences; large-scale assessment issues, higher ed. assessment/admissions, college readiness, educational accountability; and standards and ethical practice in assessment.
