About Wayne Daniel
I\'ve held various technical and team leadership positions on some cool projects with a few companies. I am currently with Qualcomm, the leader in mobile and home networking technologies including; 5G/4G/3G, Wi-Fi, Powerline, Ethernet, and Bluetooth technologies. Before that, I worked at WiQuest bringing to market short range high speed Ultrawideband (UWB) technology for wireless USB and Wireless Digital Video (WiDV). Prior to that, I worked for some fun companies like Efficient Networks which grew to be the world\'s leading DSL customer premise equipment provider enabling broadband for 20+ million Internet users. At Spectrapoint Wireless we developed one of the first fixed wireless broadband systems - but it turned out to be a little ahead of its time. I\'ve also been fortunate to participate in some bleeding edge projects such as; a DARPA sponsored super-computer concept demonstration, the mission display computer for the Air Force F-22 Raptor fighter, and the F-16 MMC computer. My main goals are to have fun while being challenged in a fast paced and exciting high tech industry.
