ABOUT WAYNE BISHOP

Wayne Bishop Jr. is Vice President of Industry Outreach and Strategy at Danovo Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, and Fortune 500 company. Wayne is a Senior Member of and a seasoned strategic business development executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in the electric power industry. He has a proven ability to create new business opportunity with strong cross-functional experience in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Human Resources, and Contract Negotiation. Wayne regularly contributes to industry trade magazines and speaks at industry conferences. He has moderated more than 100 industry panels worldwide and gives Keynotes on a variety of subjects regularly. He is a past member of the PES Governing Board helping to lead a membership of over people worldwide. From 20••••23 Bishop served as Vice President of Conferences and Meetings for PES. In this position Wayne was responsible for the overall management of all PES Conferences worldwide including strategic planning, implementation and sustainability. He currently serves as Chair of the 31st Annual TechCon Conference and is on the Advisory Boards for DTECH Northeast and T&D World Live. Wayne is a graduate of Merrimack College, Harvard University, and the Executive MBA Program at Suffolk University in Boston, graduating with honors. Wayne is also a member of the Board of Advisors for the School of Engineering and Computational Sciences at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. He is also on the Advisory Board for IRISS Companies of Bradenton, Florida. Wayne and his family live in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts.
