About Wayne Delk
Delk Media Group was created to provide training, consultation, and readily available media relations expertise to public safety agencies in the metro-Atlanta area. Drawing on numerous years of media relations experience, we offer training and consultation in public relations, media relations, and crisis communications. The expertise working both in front of and behind the camera led us to begin work in video creation. We expanded into independent film production and have co-produced several independent films with more in the works.I directed the media relations of Cobb County Police Department until my retirement in January 2024. Not only responding to everyday requests for information and setting up interviews and press conferences, I also directed proactive messaging and contributed to overall branding of the department. With several published books under my belt (and additional in the works) I put a tremendous effort into crafting written responses and multimedia content.
