About Wayne Yim
I’m a product and technology leader with a deep, multi-disciplinary background in building and scaling cloud platforms across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DaaS. I was part of the initial engineering team that built the first instance of Azure (“Red Dog”) from the ground up, and later helped build, scale, and automate Office 365 into one of the world’s largest SaaS systems, serving hundreds of millions of customers globally. I then joined the core team that bootstrapped Microsoft’s largest data platform organization, focusing on privacy, data security, and data quality for mission-critical analytics and Artificial Intelligence scenarios. At Twitter/X, I led teams across privacy, authentication, identity, and infrastructure security. Today, I lead the technical product effort for Atlassian’s first Isolated Cloud solution, delivering enhanced security, isolation, and compliance for some of the world’s largest enterprises.
